Create a message template for notification steps

You can create your own message templates to send as notification 'steps' in Pathways.

Step 1: In the left-hand menu, click Settings under System Tools.

Step 2: Click the Notification Templates tab.

Step 3: Click + new message template.

Step 4: Edit the message template.

IMPORTANT NOTE

The values with the curly braces will automatically be filled in by the system.

A list of these values are:

• To insert the recipient's name use: {{recipient.document.name}}

• To insert the user triggering the notification from a training path use: {{path.target.document.name}}

• To insert the training path name use: {{path.name}}

• To insert the task name use: {{task.document.name}}

• To insert Skill name use: {{badge.document.name}}
