'Multiple underway' setting

What is the 'multiple underway' setting?

Imagine that you'd like to assign a pathway called "xyz".

If the multiple underway toggle is off , pathway "xyz" will only be assigned to a learner if:

  • they have completed previously assigned pathway "xyz"; or
  • they have never been assigned pathway "xyz".

If the multiple underway is on, this will also allow you to assign the pathway to a learner even if they have a previously assigned pathway "xyz" that is still underway.

To turn on the multiple underway setting...

Step 1: In the related pathway, click on the cog icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

Step 2: In Pathway Extra Settings, turn on the multiple underway toggle.

Note: It is recommended to turn this setting on if you have a pathway that assigns itself.
